　　Some people think children should begin formal learning at school as young as possible. However, others feel children should not study at school until at least seven years old. Discuss both views and give your opinion. （教育类）

　　School education plays a pivotal role in a child's development. Despite this commonsense, parents are very often confronted with the arguments about the appropriate timing of sending their kids to school. Some people claim that it is much better for children to start the formal learning at school as early as possible. Others, however, believe that children may attend school after they reach the age 7.

　　School education always is essential for children's upbringing. It is not only a platform to impart academic and theoretical knowledge, but also a stage to educate an individual about the values and attitude, goods and evils. If young minds can early be exposed to the standardized education, this experience can lay a solid foundation for the establishment of their knowledge system and enable them to distinguish the right from the wrong for a younger age. Moreover, the average length for schooling is more than 16 years, which means those with earlier admission to school can finish the formal education, including primary, secondary and tertiary ones at the age 20 or even younger. Thus they can find a job and earn money to become financially independent.

　　Some people may argue that children should not be enrolled to the school until they are seven years old, because their brains are still programmed to acquire the basic knowledge and it is hard for a four-or-five-year-old kid to understand what is taught during the class. Indeed, to some extent, there is still much room for children's intellectual development before they can fully command the lectures delivered by teachers. However, they are oversimplifying the situation. In fact, a majority of children may not necessarily have no idea about what is going on in the class. It is acknowledged that the formal school education begins at a very fundamental level, which allows the beginners to acquire the knowledge step by step.
