　　Task2:Some businesses find that some new employees finishing their education lack basic interpersonal skills such as working with their colleagues in a team. What do you think are the reasons? What can be done to help them develop such skills?

　　Many graduates of high schools and universities are starting to work without a basic understanding of how to deal with interpersonal relationships at workplace. This lack of interpersonal skills, in my opinion, is due to a lack of real work experience and limited education which can be solved in two simple ways.

　　One main reason why so many new employees are unable to integrate into a new working environment upon finishing education is that they have been studying with those of similar ages and mindsets. As a result, they have never experienced occasions where they need to team up with partners who are much older and have totally different ways of thinking. Another cause is that schools and colleges do not factor interpersonal skills into their curriculum. They focus instead on classic subjects, such as maths, economics, history and languages, which means important communicating skills are not being taught.

　　There are two options for solving young people's inability to get along with colleagues after they enter into a company. Firstly, universities should provide senior students with more internship opportunities so that they could have less difficulties in adapting to new modes of communication after joining a company. Secondly, schools should incorporate interpersonal skills into their curriculum for final year students. In this way, graduates will be able to learn in a supportive environment how their relationships with future job partners could be built and managed to avoid problems later at workplace.

　　In conclusion, new employees lack interpersonal skills in the workplace due to the negligence of schools and universities, which can only be solved if both take more responsibility for equipping school leavers with the right skills.
