1.I'd like to talk about an English lesson I had a couple of years ago when i was in London for a summer camp.There's a course about english pronunciation,which is quite interesting.
2.The lesson I'm going to talk about was given by a professor from Cambridge university.He's from London.I could tell that by his accent.I think he's in his fifties,since he told us that he had taught English for over 20 years.He had a good taste on clothes.I love his shirt and tie.He looked like those gentlemen that we often see in British films.
3.The lesson was about different British accents.He mainly introduced 2 different accents,one's received pronunciation and the other's cockney accent.He also told us the origin and history of both accents,the popularity of them and how to acquire them.
4.His lesson was mind-blowing.Before that,i never knew the existence of so many different accents.i think accents are fascinating.Some are very elegant,some are very special and distinctive.His lesson opened my mind.i've learnt a lot from it.
