刚刚在公开课中提到了几个和声音有关的collocations（搭配），学为贵口语老师杨帅在这里也分享给大家，并分享更多的一些相关表达。
注意：collocations（搭配）是雅思口语考试评分标准中明确写出来需要考生使用的词汇，它们可以表现一个人的英文词汇地道与否。大家好好学习。
the roar of traffic 交通的嘈杂声
e.g. I can't stand the incessant roar of traffic.
deafening sound 震耳欲聋的声音
e.g. Did you hear that deafening sound? How could you not hear it? It was so loud!
faint sound 微弱的声音
e.g. I heard a faint sound. I followed it here.
music blaring 音乐高声鸣响
e.g. There are a bunch of college students living next door and I can hear music blaring every night!
birds chirping 鸟叫
e.g. It's the birds chirping that wakes me up every morning.
awkward silence 尴尬/窘人的沉默
e.g. After the boss' speech, there was an awkward silence.
break the silence 打破沉默
e.g. Her laughter broke the silence.
