　　let sb go 开除某人

　　e.g. I don't suppose we can eat at that top-shelf（一流的） restaurant anymore. I was just let go and I don't make any money now.

　　let oneself go 不注意仪表、不修边幅

　　e.g. Since turning 50, my dad has really let himself go.

　　let it go 到此为止吧、不要再多说/做了

　　e.g. I suggest that you just let it go. There's no use in keeping on trying to find the answer.

　　let's call it a day 我们今天就到这里吧

　　e.g. I'm super tired now. Let's just call it a day.

　　let me see 让我想想

　　e.g. Why do girls like shopping? Um, I don't really know. Let me see …

　　let's say 假设、比如说

　　e.g. Let's say you're at a party and you meet a really handsome guy. Will you go up to him and ask his number?

　　let sb in on sth 告诉某人某个秘密

　　e.g. I'll let you in on that secret if you promise to keep it between us.

　　let sb down 让某人失望

　　e.g. You only got 7 in/on the IELTS test. You really let me down!
