Mum is a kind of Chinese herbal medicine. When it’s dried, people would like to drink it as a kind of herbal tea, which is good for our liver and eyes . If you have a sore throat, drink some. In a couple of days you will be as fit as a fiddle.

Mum stands for respect in Chinese traditional culture. So Chinese tend to bring some white and yellow mums when they go to graveyard to honor those who passed away.
