雅思剑4Test 2 Section 1 听力原文：
“.......the told me the computer system was temporarily down1,so they couldn’t do any transactions.......Pity2 he’s moving on tomorrow....I’m hungry, and we’ve got a lot of sightseeing3 to do....No, hang on.......,the guidebook says the Botanical Gardens are worth spending some time in4,....I think there’s a charge for5 all of them except the Botanical Gardens....The view is supposed to be spectacular6.....Ok, well, that’ll be more than enough for today7.....”
雅思精听分析+听说结合：
1. temporarily down:在这儿用的比较精妙的词儿是down, down这个单词本身非常万能，它可以做adv.prep.adj.&n.，就拿n.来说吧，down可以指鸟的绒羽eg. duck down鸭绒，或者人的汗毛或者绒毛，腻害吧。但在这儿而言，down指的是出故障了，可以翻译为电脑系统暂时性的瘫痪了，所以不能交易了。这个表达可以用在口语话题Describe a time when you got lost.比如你车上的navigator was totally down（听起来好像很惨的样子，导航仪都坏了，如果想惨的话可以说，你手机也没你电了the cell phone/smart phone was out of power/juice在这儿不指果汁儿，而是电量）
2. pity在这儿拓展完整就是it is a pity that...
3. 对于sightseeing其实我想说...这其实是个不可数名词，而且在口语当中描述景点，风景的时候有好多好多的词啊eg.:view,scenery,scene,tourist spots,historical resorts....
4. Some places be worth doing some time in.某地值得一游，就等于some places was worth visiting，看似差不错，但其实原文的表达更细致到位。多棒！
5. charge (sb./sth.) for (sb./sth.) 收费，向...要价，这个表达总比你口语的时候说it needs money要高级吧。
6. sth. be supposed to be...什么什么被认为怎么这么样，suppose在恰当的语境下这个词可以替换烤鸭口语当中被无限重复使用的的I think~~~~
7. more than enough是足够多的，比较文气的翻译是绰绰有余。比如说，有一种痛的领悟叫I'm afraid I've eaten more than enough.
