1.I’d like to talk about the establishment of the People’s Republic of China,which is the most important historical event in my country’s history.It happened on October1,1949,at Tian An Men Sqaure,Peking.In my opinion,it has a great influence on the political world and global economy.

2.I learnt something about it in a history lesson.Our teacher played a video tape ,which showed us the whole event.It left me a deep impression,especially when i saw our flag flying at the Tian An Men Square,I almost burst into tears.

3.In the video,Chair Mao,standing with other national leaders declared'The Chinese people have stood up!'and the formal establishment of the People’s Republic of China.later,our army had a parade,showing those advanced weapons to the rest of the world.At that time,it had a significant influence,which means:We had the power to defend our country.

4.I’m proud of it.We had a dark history.Our people suffered a lot in World War One and World War Two.After decades of struggling and fight,we kicked intruders back to their home and rebuilt our homeland.That day marked the beginning of a new age,and the rise of the People's Republic of China.It’s a day that won’t be forgotten.
