If we think about the purpose of advertising,there are mainly two kinds,commercial,and public service advertising.If we think about the medias,there are a number of types,for example:Print medias advertising (like newspapers and magazines,brochures,leaflets, flyers,handouts) broadcast advertising,TV advertising,billboard advertising,smartphone advertising,online advertising (any advertisements you find on the Internet ),direct mail advertising.
