I'd like to talk about an experience that I helped a homeless person.

It happened last year. I was in a restaurant, sitting by a window. It's freezing cold outside.He's sitting in coner ,with a blanket over his shoulders, shivering with cold.

He looked like in his sixties. There's a bowl at his feet,some coins inside. I could tell that he was not in a good condition. I tried to start a conversation. But it seemed like he's lost in his own world. 

I had tought about leaving him some money, however,on second thought, i don't think it's a wise thing to do. He could be a junkie or a homeless alcholic. Then money would be no good to him. So i bought him a burger and coke. I believe that's what he needed. 

I felt good about helping him. A burger means nothing to me but could be a life saver to him. Actually, I beleive anyone in my position would do the same. It's what we are supposed to do,isn't it?
