　　Do you think history is an important subject?

　　Well, I'm not entirely sure if it's necessary for ordinary people to learn history, but it's definitely useful to spend time reading about some things that happened in the past because at least it provides people with some good talking points.

　　For instance, I'm particularly interested in the Ming Dynasty of China, which dates back to 600 years ago and so I read about it a lot. When I'm hanging out with friends or people I meet for the first time, I can always talk about this particular time with them, which I think is a lot of fun.
