《单词遇上句子》——这简直美得让我想哭

加分习语（idioms)：

1. think nothing of ... 觉得没什么／觉得某事是小菜一碟！

2. bring a lump to my throat 感动得我想哭！

加分语法：

结果状语从句 ...so adj. that ...

例句：

The book was so great that I couldn't put it down. 

那本书太棒了，我简直爱不释手。

When we got to our holiday destination, it was a very long climb up to the cottage that we were renting. My friend Eric thought nothing of it, but I found it quite difficult. However, when we got to the top, the view was so beautiful that it brought a lump to my throat.

加分词组（collocations)：

1. holiday-maker ... 度假的人

2. a sense of adventure 冒险的感觉

3. like-minded people 志趣相投的人

4. push myself to the limit 尽自己的极限去做一些艰难的事

5. discover who I am 发现自我

6. tend to 往往 

7. feel proud of myself 为自己感动骄傲

I'm a holiday-maker with a sense of adventure. I prefer to meet like-minded people with whom I can share my unforgettable experiences. I can push myself to the limit and then discover who I am. I tend to come home feeling a little prouder of myself.
