How to become a smart person?

Well, haha, that's a weird question, but of course it's something that everybody thinks about. I believe there are two basic things that allow people to become smarter, more intelligent. 

First of all, reading is extremely important. Through reading, we get to learn things in various fields - history, geography, culture, science and so on. All this great amount of knowledge we gain from books will definitely make us smarter.

Plus, we should also travel as much as possible because it's a great way to expand our horizons. We get to see and do things we've never experienced before, which makes us more open-minded and therefore wiser.
